Off to the thrift shop I had to go...little did I know that this dress must have been beckoning me to come that way! What decade do you think this is from? The store was having a buy 1 get 1 FREE--any clothing item! I snatched up this little lovely and found a VERY NICE silk Ann Taylor floral dress for my daughter. Total for the 2 dresses $3.15!!!! WOW!
Can you see those wonderful pearlized snaps at the shoulder and down one side? FUN!FUN!FUN!
And it has never even been worn or washed (which it does need now).
Anyone familiar with "The New York Store" in Blytheville, Ark.??? They apparently had to reduce this beauty's price down to $8 to sell it. I wonder when that took place?
Be sure to drop by Rhoda's, Southern Hospitality, to see all those participating in this
week's edition of Today's Thrifty Treasures party.

Wow that's bright! But really cute! And I love that it still has its original tags.
Thanks for visiting my blog :)
I think you need some white go-go boots to go with that dress! It looks like it's straight out of the 60's! I love it!
I agree straight from the 60"s. Really cute.
I'm guessing 1960s, and I LOVE it!!! So cute. :)
That is so cute and very cheerful! Can't you believe the tags are still on?! Way to go! Linda
I would have never seen the snaps on the side if you hadn't pointed them out. I'm loving this blog carnival where we can check out everyone's thrifty finds!
Yep - late 60's. :-)
What a wonderful dress! Takes me right back to a time I only know from movies.
How delightful. I love your happy dress!

Far out dress, Suzanne!! White go- go's would definitely be in order! LOL Cute, cute...
What a neat find! That would be cute hanging on the wall or on a dress form in a sewing room.
How fun!
What bright, beautiful colors. You'll have to show us an after pic with you wearing this. I love Carol's idea about the white go-go boots. I remember having some of those *sigh* I loved them.
Suzanne, I love bright colors, I could so see me wearing this dress!! I joined your blog, come on over to my blog for coffee and pie! Julie
How cute! I can't believe it still has the tags!
If the tags in the dress have an RN number, you can estimate its vintage. Here's an article on how to do it:

I'm voting 60s, but you never know!
