"MET MONDAY" Canning Jar Transformation

Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch, hosts a weekly blog party "Metamorphosis Monday" and I wanted to show how to take a simple canning jar and make a lovely little gift for someone special. I just love these jars that I found at WalMart, in the canning section.

After a few crafty steps (see my tutorial), one of them was transformed into a little pin cushion jar:

This is such a cute and creative idea! I've never seen these little canning jars. I'll have to be on the lookout for some. :)

Suzanne, My dogs and cats would look great in your collars, but with 6 dogs and 5 cats, I am afraid I couldn't afford them. Maybe one or two.

Thanks for the pin cushion idea.

This is so cute! And it reminds me of elementary school--back in the olden golden days--when we made pincushions for our moms out of canning jar rings and lids. But ours weren't as cute as your darling jar!

Thank you so much for coming by my blog and introducing yourself. I'm glad to find you! I've never been to Abilene, but have many friends who went to college there. :)
