MY SEWING STUDIO IN ITS STATE OF CHAOS!

I thought I would share some of my favorite things I use to make my dog collars and then I got carried away and started taking pictures of my studio without taking time to rearrange/hide any of the clutter. So look around and enjoy!

My favorite and only machine I now use for my collars is the Janome Memory Craft 1600P that I purchased in January. It "runs with the wind" and is an extra sturdy machine--I just love it for this application.

See the purple and lilac handle on my lip edge ruler in picture below? It is called "The Gypsy Gripper" and has made my life so much easier when cutting hundreds of strips of fabric with my rotary cutter. It is a "must have"!

Notice the big spool sitting to the right of my 1600P in the next photo--that is a 1.5 pound spool of monofilament thread that I have been using on all of my collars for the last several months. I'm wondering just how long it will last--years, probably!

Now take the rest of the tour of my studio:

Awesome space!
If that's chaos, then it is beautifully controlled chaos. :)

I didn't think it looked cluttered at all!!!!!! I can only dream of having my own "space" for sewing and crafting someday...until then, I guess I'll continue using the dining room table. Thanks for sharing your awsome studio!

It looks like such a great space to create! I would love to hang out in there for some creative inspiration!

I love that you shared photos of your studio without tidying up! When I see lots of "tidy" photos I sometimes wonder how the artist gets anything done. Yours looks very usable. Thanks.
